Education 22, within the Ministry of Education, Employment and the Family, is committed to provide quality programmes that promote education and lifelong learning, culture, sports, youth, the family and employment reflecting the remit of the same Ministry.

This commitment will be further enhanced following an agreement between the Ministry of Education, Employment and the Family and the Public Broadcasting Services for closer collaboration.

Education22, which will now be free to air, provides space for the educational development and participation of sections of society through discussion programmes, documentaries, programmes with a cultural focus and others that promote the Arts, well being and Sports. It seeks to provide learning opportunities, information and entertainment for various target audiences. It will feature news updates and information on services offered by government entities, educational institutions and voluntary organizations. Education 22 encourages the participation of local established artists as well as budding talent.
